Berries are one of the few human foods that are straightforwardly a good idea for dogs: low in calories, easy to portion, and containing nothing problematic. Note that this is specifically berries and not grapes, which look similar, sit next to them in the shop and are the most dangerous common fruit a dog can eat.

No reliable dose threshold has been published for this. Anything presenting a specific safe amount is extrapolating.
