# Can you freeze pizza?

Cooked pizza freezes safely and keeps for a couple of months. Cheese and bread both freeze well; the topping vegetables release some water, which is the only real quality cost. ## How to do it properly

1. Freeze slices flat on a tray, then stack with parchment between them

3. Reheat from frozen at 200 °C for 10-12 minutes, or in a covered dry pan over medium heat
4. Do not thaw first — it makes the base soggy
