Slab serif · Solid, industrial, a bit retro-American.

A geometric slab serif with unbracketed square serifs, which gives it a mechanical quality quite different from Clarendon's warmth. It had an unexpected second life in the 2010s as a logo typeface for companies wanting to look like they made physical objects.
