# Adobe Photoshop keyboard shortcuts

**Adobe Photoshop keyboard shortcuts: 89 shortcuts**

Windows, macOS and Linux

Adobe Photoshop, the image editor. Tool shortcuts are single letters with no modifier and are identical on both platforms; the modifier combinations follow Ctrl to Command and Alt to Option almost everywhere, with the type controls being the main exception. Every one of these can be reassigned under Edit then Keyboard Shortcuts.

## Brush and painting

| Left / Right arrow | Rotate the brush tip by one degree |
| Shift + Left / Right arrow | Rotate the brush tip by fifteen degrees |
| 0 to 9 | Set the opacity or strength of the active tool — 5 gives 50 per cent, 0 gives 100 per cent |

## Blending modes
