Privacy and cookies

The short version: this site has no accounts, no logins and no newsletter, so it asks you for nothing and stores nothing about you itself. Advertising is the one exception, and it is described in full below.

What this site collects

Nothing personally identifying. There is no sign-up, no contact form storing submissions, and no first-party tracking cookie. Your theme preference (light or dark) is kept in your own browser’s local storage and is never sent anywhere.

Our hosting provider processes standard server request data such as IP address and user agent in order to deliver pages and defend against abuse. That is a necessary part of serving any website.

Advertising and cookies

This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here. Material changes to how advertising works will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
