Almost landlocked: the Neum corridor gives it about 20 km of Adriatic coast, one of the shortest coastlines of any country with sea access. The Una and Neretva cut deep karst canyons through limestone, and the Una at Štrbački Buk drops over a series of travertine steps about 25 m high.
