Which glue works on shoes?
A sole bond flexes several thousand times a day and is loaded almost entirely in peel, which is the worst case for any adhesive — so the useful products are the flexible ones, and rigid strength on the tube is irrelevant. Preparation does more than product choice: sole units are moulded with release agents still on them and often carry a wax or silicone finish, so abrading and degreasing is what separates a repair that lasts a year from one that lasts a week.
