Three volcanic islands, with Grand Etang filling a crater about 530 m up in the interior. Kick 'em Jenny, an active submarine volcano 8 km off the north coast, rises to within about 180 m of the surface and is one of the most closely monitored underwater volcanoes in the world. Grenada is one of the largest nutmeg producers per head anywhere, which is why the spice is on the flag.
