Steps to the top of The STRAT Tower
1,455
Reaching the observation deck at 260 m · restricted — events or permit only

The tower's stairwell opens for an annual charity climb of 1,455 steps; visitors otherwise take a lift that covers the same distance in about 37 seconds. At 350 m to the tip it is the tallest observation tower in the United States. The stairwell is enclosed and unair-conditioned, which in a Nevada summer is the defining feature of the climb. The event is usually run in cooler months for that reason.
